The character Will Byers is shown as being scared in this scene. The way that this is shown is through his facial expression and the way he is looking which suggests that he has seen something that he is scared of or has frightened him.  The camera Angle is taken from a low angle which makes it seem like he is looking up. We also can only see his face so it is zoomed in on his face and the expression that he has.

In this scene, will is seen as being innocent and happy although it could also show that he is uncertain about something. This is shown by the fact that he is smiling but he is also looking down which could show that he is unsure or uncertain of something. Will is the only thing that is in focus in the scene but we can see that behind him there is nothing, this could show that he may be alone.

In this scene there is a two shot of will and Lucas. In this scene it shows that they are close friends and have a good relationship. This is shown because they are both looking at each other and making eye contact. The focus is more on Will because you can`t really see Lucas because he is in the dark so he is more shadowy. We also know that they are close friends because we can see that they both have the same facial expression which could show that they are feeling the same things.
