genre and cinematography


  the genre in this shot shows horror. This is shown through the close up because you can only see part of the tree so it creates horror because we want to know what is behind the tree. I think that the focus on the tree is good and went well but i think that i could improve the shot by making sure that it doesn't have a cone in the background so that it is more clear and has a better background.
  The genre in this shot is spy becuase you can't see the whole body and the person is looking through the window so the person outside doesn't know that they are spying on them. To make this photo better i think that the focus should more outside so we can see that they are spying because the focus is on the person looking not on the thing that being spyed on.



The genre in this shot is musical. This is shown through the piano and the close up on the piano keys because it shows that music is being played. To make this shot better i think that the photo should have been taken straight so that it isn't on a angle because you can't see the whole of the piano and some of it is in a shadow so to improve it we could also make sure that the lighting is good and even so that there are no shadows.
 The genre in this shot is sci - fi. This is shown through the low angle that the shot was taken because it makes the tree look really tall because it makes it look out of proportion to the rest of the tree and the branches because the branches look much smaller and the focus is only on the bottom of the tree. I think that the angle of shot is done well but i think to improve it, more focus should be on the rest of the tree.


The genre in this shot is romance. This is shown through the close up of the hands holding each other. To make the photo better i would ensure that the photo is in better quality and in more focus so that you can see it more easily. The shot is effective because you can only see the hands so it is clear of what it is of.




The genre in this shot is mystery. This shows mystery because you can't see what is up the stairs and it creates suspense because you want to know is up the stairs. The shot angle is effective because you can only see the stairs and it makes it look like the stairs are going high. To improve the shot i would take the shot so that it is more straight so that it isnt on such an angle.

The genre in this shot is Humour because of the facial expression that is on his face because he seems happy and in a good mood. To make the shot better i would have a better background and i would make sure that his eyes are open. I think that the fact that it is a mid shot is effective because he is the main focus and you cant see the whole of his body.

The usual suspect DIALOGUE the use of dialogue in `the usual suspect` helps to create a genre because of the way that it is spoken because the voices are low and quiet which suggests that there is something sinister and not normal because they are talking quietly which means that they could be trying to be sceretive. The dialogue helps the narrative because it makes the audience understand what is going on more so they have a better understanding and they know who the characters are from what they do and what they say because it shows if they are good or bad.
